Sylvia’s passion for Hospitality grew out of her days developing a corporate wellness model in Ontario, Canada.

Sylvia’s corporation:  Bambra Health System, Inc. was working with several corporations in Ontario, Canada and Western New York State.  Sylvia’s team came across a beautiful, historic building in Ontario that was on the market.  The building, a classic Georgian Victorian revival structure known as Willowbank (www.willowbank.ca.org), was nestled in the pastoral Village of Queenston, Ontario.

It was agreed that this site would make the perfect location for corporate wellness and team building retreats.

The planning, negotiating and strategizing around the use of the space, combined with several visits to the site and discussion with the owners and community members, ignited Sylvia’s imagination about the possibility of space as an inspiration for creativity and wellness.

Fast forward twenty years!  Sylvia exits from her corporation and relocates to California.

Sylvia embarks on a journey to re-create the beautiful healing spaces of her corporate wellness days.

Sylvia’s entrepreneurial journey in California began in Sacramento.  Sylvia continued to work in the hospitality space – but now in a maintenance capacity.

Sylvia purchased a small cleaning company with a business partner.  The business was successful and nourished Sylvia’s desire to create and re-create beautiful spaces “creating order out of chaos”.  

During this period, Sylvia worked closely with realtors, contractors,  interior designers and executive clients.  Sylvia quickly learned how to create beautiful spaces using an existing canvas – with just a few relatively minor adjustments – creating beautiful and inspirational environments for her colleagues and clients.
